Protein is frequently marketed as a quick fix. But protein works quietly, gradually, and cumulatively through long-term physiological processes rather than dramatic overnight transformations.


4. Modern diets often prioritise convenience over foundations


Many highly processed convenience foods are low in meaningful protein quality or fail to support broader dietary balance. At the same time, older adults may unintentionally under-consume protein due to appetite changes, routine shifts, or confusion around nutritional needs.
