Most ready-made protein puddings just about tick the taste box - but not much else.

They’re often packed with hidden chemicals and additives, meaning that the ingredients aren’t very gut-friendly.

This homemade version is a different story. With just 4 simple ingredients, it delivers a rich, silky chocolate pudding that comes together in just 2 minutes.

It also keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days, so feel free to double the ingredients and enjoy an effortless protein boost throughout the week.

Ingredients

  • 1x 300g pack of organic silken tofu - usually found at the ‘free from’ section in supermarkets
  • 2x scoops of Cacao & Maca Organic Whey Protein Powder (25g)
  • 2x scoops of raw cacao or 2-3 scoops of cocoa (10-15g)
  • 1-2x scoops of honey or agave (21-42g)
  • 1 pinch of sea salt, optional but it does bring the flavour of chocolate out

Directions

As you may have guessed from the ingredients list, we used a protein scoop to measure everything out. It’s easy, and it reduces washing up!

  1. Grab a blender cup.
  2. Drain any excess water off the silken tofu.
  3. Add all of the ingredients to the blender.
  4. Blend on high until you see a silky chocolate pudding.
  5. Taste it, then add more cacao, honey or salt as required.
