Nutty Choccy Chip Protein Balls

Here’s an easy peasy protein ball recipe for you all. It’s so easy you won’t even need a blender! I’ve used almond butter as the base, but you can of course use peanut, cashew or any other nut butter; they’ll taste amazing regardless. I think we’re all familiar with protein balls, as they have become somewhat ubiquitous, but if you have any questions feel free to let us know in the comments. :-)

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops (40g) Organic Whey Protein
  • 170g almond butter (1 typically one jar of nut butter)
  • 1-2 tbsp honey (add to taste)
  • 40ml water or nut milk
  • 30g chopped dark chocolate
  • A pinch of salt

Yield: 24 balls

Directions

  1. Mix the whey protein, chocolate and salt in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl mix the almond butter, honey, milk and oil together.
  3. Add the dry mixture to the almond butter mixture, then mix well until it forms a thick dough consistency.
  4. Roll into small balls.
  5. Eat a few and keep the rest in an airtight container in the fridge.
