  • Fibre 0.8g
  • Carbohydrates 8.8g
  • Sugars 8g

Directions

  1. Place all the ingredients into a food processor and blitz the mixture on a medium speed until a soft dough forms.
  2. Using your hands, shape the mixture into bite-sized pieces.
  3. For a little extra magic, place your crushed toppings in separate bowls and roll each bite through them. Make sure to do this while the mixture is still fresh so the coating sticks evenly.
  4. Serve and enjoy with a warming festive drink!

Tips

  • Preparation Tips: For homemade mincemeat, mix 70g raisins, 50g currants and 30g chopped walnuts, then finish with a splash of brandy to infuse overnight.
  • Subsitute Suggestion: If you’re short on time, a jar of readymade mincemeat will also work.
  • Storage Instruction: These are best enjoyed fresh, though they’ll keep for up to five days. Pop them in the fridge if you like a firmer, chewier bite.

Fast, festive, and free from refined sugar, these Mince Pie Protein Bites are the perfect pick-me-up for busy December days.
