Yummy Nutrient Dense Spring Yumminess

So March is finally here and spring is just about in the air...yes! Here's a refreshing uber-healthy smoothie for you all to enjoy in the knowledge that winter is on the back foot at last. Beetroot and watercress are both chock-a-block full of good stuff, so combined with a scoop of Organic Whey Protein you're looking at one killer smoothie. And yes, that is a beetroot in an egg cup...what can I say? It just felt right.

Ingredients

  • 2 Small Beetroot (approx. 150 G)
  • 1 Handful Watercress
  • 1 Scoop Organic Whey Protein
  • 250ml Apple Juice
  • 1 TSP Grated ginger (optional)

Directions

  1. Add all the ingredients to your blender.
  2. Give a good whizz for about 20 seconds.
  3. Enjoy.
