In January, we turned to our trusted organic protein community for their thoughts on what our next flavour should be. Your overwhelming response? Cookies & Cream!

We’re delighted to share this latest flavour blend. Cookies & Cream is a classic in the protein powder world but the existing options are often laden with artificial flavours, sweeteners, and emulsifiers to create that irresistible flavour profile.

Our mission was to offer a genuine alternative for customers who wanted all the joy of an exceptionally tasty Cookies & Cream protein powder, while still meeting their health goals and preference for natural, clean ingredients.

This is the result of our efforts.

We tasked our foodie chef, Grace Lara Flynn, to concoct a Cookies & Cream blend that delivered all of the flavour with none of the nasties, and we think she’s succeeded with flying colours.

Here’s a closer look at what ingredients make the taste sensation that is our Organic Cookies & Cream Whey Protein:

• Ground Bourbon vanilla pods: Real Madagascan vanilla for that classic, moreish vanilla cookie note.
• Roasted cacao powder: Finely ground lower cadmium cacao beans add the richness of chocolate chips.
• Spanish pink rock salt and unrefined coconut sugar: Small but mighty additions to balance the flavours, with unrefined coconut sugar giving a subtle sweetness.
• Fresh, cold-filtered whey protein: The star of our protein powders, cold-filtered, organic whey protein provides a luxurious creamy taste that complements the cookie flavours.

High-quality, organic ingredients

We’ve eschewed the traditional route to a Cookies & Cream flavour by using only quality, organic ingredients to create the combo. No artificial or “natural” flavourings in sight.

Considered sourcing

The cacao used in our new flavour is lower in cadmium and sourced from a strictly slavery-free supply in Sierra Leone. We’ve also used a small amount of Spanish pink rock salt, a fantastic alternative to Himalayan pink salt, which can be sourced much closer to the UK to lower the environmental footprint.

Here’s everything we think you should know to get the very best out of our latest organic whey protein blend:

• For those who like the chocolatey taste of our Cacao & Maca blend but are after a higher protein content, Cookies & Cream is a great alternative with a protein level of 16.4g per 25g serving compared to 15g.
• For the best taste, we’d recommend mixing it with milk (dairy or plant-based) using the quantities specified on the pack, as you might find the whole food flavour to be watered down otherwise.
• Cookies & Cream provides 68% of the recommended daily intake (RI) of Vitamin B12, 15% RI for copper, and 18% RI for calcium. You’ll find the full nutritional information on the back of the pack, third-party tested for accuracy.
