Sophie Medlin

Sophie Medlin is a well recognised consultant colorectal dietitian with nearly 20 years experience in her field. Sophie worked in the NHS before moving into academia where she lectured in Nutrition and Dietetitcs at Plymouth University and King’s College London.

Sophie now runs her clinical practice CityDietitians with a team of highly regarded, specialist Dietitians. Sophie specialises in the management of bowel conditions including inflammatory bowel disease, IBS, food intolerance, diverticular disease and rectal conditions such as hemorrhoids and fissures. Sophie was the lead clinician in a Channel 4 documentary series Know Your Sh*t which is available on the Channel 4 player. Sophie is also known for her work in formulating supplements and products for the supplement industry and is working as a supplement reviewer for Which?, the consumer association.
